GARDEN SERVICES
A horticultural graduate from the illustrious Hadlow College with over twenty years’ experience, including nine years working on the famous gardens at Walmer Castle.

About James West Gardens
I started my horticultural career in 1996 as a student at Hadlow College, Tonbridge. I graduated with a National Diploma in Horticulture and since then I’ve gone on to work in various aspects of the industry.
For nine years I was a gardener in the prestigious gardens of Walmer Castle, with particular responsibility for the Kitchen Garden. This involved all the planning, planting and harvesting of the fruit and vegetables. I also worked in all other aspects of the garden including general maintenance of the hedges and lawns as well as pruning and redeveloping older areas of the garden.
When the garden centre closed down we decided to move back to the UK with the intention of starting a garden maintenance business offering high quality work. Pruning and improving gardens is a speciality but I also carry out regular maintenance work such as mowing, hedge cutting, weeding and planting to a high standard.
I am always happy to discuss customers’ requirements and can provide regular or one off maintenance
